Teal

"BLUE!!!!!"
"GREEN!!!!!!"

He insisted the former,
whereas she persisted the latter.
The couple were firm.

The bickering over the color of this thread ball,
ended without reaching a consensus,
not even close, to be precise.

He couldn't understand,
over her misinterpretation of that color.
"It's as simple as distinguishing between a cat and a dog!"
he echoed silently.

Being unaware,
his experiences has implicitly shaped his color judgment,
a predominant perspective,
which he applies to everything.
But, what about her perspective?
To her as well,
that has been her color guideline since conscious.
Vice versa.

Eventually,
being impatient over the inconclusiveness,
he took the initiative of compromising,
"It's greenish-BLUE!".
She nodded with a shallow smile,
and placed a full stop to this futile squabbling.
However, deep inside,
she is aware that both of them weren't convinced...

Actually,
would it make a difference,
if he doesn't deny her perspective,
but instead, listens, acknowledges and respects it,
without losing his principles by deciphering it as:
dark teal?
(for his stand)

毕竟,
有些事没完全的
只有价值观的存在。
那么,
人所谓的相处之道(包括沟通),
其实,是不是在绿中,
寻求一个的平衡点?
